What is Spring Like in The Villages Community® Florida?

If you have ever heard of The Villages Community®, Florida, you have probably heard they have gorgeous weather there pretty much all year long. While the weather is usually much milder than northern states, The Villages Community® still experiences fluctuations in temperatures in each season. We just bought a home in Ocala in June 2025. We have a beautiful front porch, but it is in direct sunlight and very HOT! We searched around and talked to a couple of companies looking for awning options and frankly I picked Michele's Hide-Away Screens and Awning because the woman who answered the call was very pleasant, informative and helpful. She listened to our needs and made a great recommendation. We chose to move forward with them and ordered a Retractable Awning which is flush mounted to the house when closed. The order was placed; I was advised a time that it would be delivered to their location because they are custom made and received a call that it arrived - earlier than expected. They called me to schedule the installation. The install arrived on time and went right to work. The install took a couple of hours and was done without any issues and looked fantastic. EVEN BETTER - when the awning is opened and covers the porch it is so much cooler now. The Install Team cleaned up the area and we are overjoyed with the entire experience.
