Remembering Gene Rank

We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of our “weekend warrior” Gene Rank, who faithfully represented Michele’s Hide-Away Screens & Awnings for many years at our Market of Marion exhibit. As one of the most dependable and enthusiastic members of our team and often being the very first contact with thousands of MHAS customers, Gene had just celebrated his 87th birthday on May 31st before being called home on Saturday, June 3rd. The Michele’s Hide-Away Screens & Awnings family, along with all of his Market friends, will miss him and we wish to express our sincere condolences to Gene’s wife Barbara and the entire Rank family.

I called in for service on my existing “Michele’s Hide-Away” screen and in 3 days the service technician, Dalton, arrived. He immediately assessed the damage and went to work to fix it. In less than 30 minutes the door was repaired and working as it should. I’ve had Michele’s screens installed in 2 homes over the years and very pleased with the product and service. The cost of my recent service was surprisingly low.
