5 Reasons Autumn is the best time of year to bring in the breeze.

After the hottest Summer on record, it's safe to say that as Floridians, we are so glad Autumn has arrived! We just bought a home in Ocala in June 2025. We have a beautiful front porch, but it is in direct sunlight and very HOT! We searched around and talked to a couple of companies looking for awning options and frankly I picked Michele's Hide-Away Screens and Awning because the woman who answered the call was very pleasant, informative and helpful. She listened to our needs and made a great recommendation. We chose to move forward with them and ordered a Retractable Awning which is flush mounted to the house when closed. The order was placed; I was advised a time that it would be delivered to their location because they are custom made and received a call that it arrived - earlier than expected. They called me to schedule the installation. The install arrived on time and went right to work. The install took a couple of hours and was done without any issues and looked fantastic. EVEN BETTER - when the awning is opened and covers the porch it is so much cooler now. The Install Team cleaned up the area and we are overjoyed with the entire experience. We will be going back to them to get a Motorized Screen Door for our Garage as well. We Highly Recommend Michele's Hide-Away Screens and Awnings to any in need.
